Sandbox Logistics is a Houston-based transportation company that specializes in proppant logistics. Using a proprietary process and special containerization, Sandbox Logistics efficiently and safely transports hazardous frac sand for companies involved in hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking. Fracking involves pumping a highly pressurized mixture of water, proppant sand, and chemicals underground to fracture rock and release natural gas or oil.
